Haitians Tap-Tap (buses) Shows Their Penchant for Business

I was swamped today with work and catching up so this blog post is short. This is a Tap-Tap one of the colorful buses that are in Haiti. They are emblazoned with imagery. Some Haitians pay as much as $1,200 to decorate the buses which ferry car-strapped Haitians around Port Au Prince and beyond. Many have images or references to Jesus, Mary and other Christian icons and others have voodoo references or images of rappers. Usually they are packed full. But the fact that the Tap -Taps are up and running even though the roads in Haiti are atrocious shows their industriousness.
